We at Spectrum Froums defind Spam as:

1, Posting non related urls or web sites of a commercial nature in Tag lines of web box or posting links to set or porn sites.

If any such links are found you will be given a warning and on the third violation you account will be permanently deleted.

How ever you may post links to you interests such as art work and informative links relating to Autism/Aspergers Syndrome.
It would be nice if the rules about signature links to other Autism Spectrum forums were clear, since they're potential rivals and all.
Agreed, I like to be as open as I can with regards to people posting links to favourite interests sites, Facebook/Devianart and on occasions where plugging or mentioning other forums is mutual. But there has been an increase in the number of spamming.

If its blatant spam, non autism, users interest, offensive or commercial links they will be removed.

Most are created by bots but occasions there are genuine users who like to draw attention to other sites. If someone has a controversial view point that may cause a good debate then that like to a forum/site will be allowed providing once again it is not offence and promotes healthy debate. eg the ongoing argument over the "cure" of autism.

If any members would like to propose defined rules over the use of who can post what web sites then plase post them here so that they can be formatted into a definite, clear and easy to under stand ruling.
